2000-0148 error. Msg: Unit 1: IDE Error : status 3E No additional sense information

I am using Dell Vostro 1500 model laptop. Recently it was not starting up. So I tried to reinstall OS on existing using DVD. But it was restarting all the times.... Could not see screen after windows screen. And tried to boot using USB. But that is also didn't worked. Tried to diagnose the system tests. Attached is one screen where i got 2000-0148 error. Msg: Unit 1: IDE Error : status 3E No additional sense information.  Then I found this error is due to HDD bad sectors.Kindly let me know how to recover my HDD. I don't want data, but let me know can i recover my HDD ?
