Hello Muzamil1,

Please help me understand if you have purchased the system with AMD graphics card. The Inspiron 5521 was shipped with the following AMD cards:

  • AMD Radeon HD 7670M with 1 GB video memory
  • AMD Radeon HD 8730M with 2 GB video memory

In case you have any of these, all the programs are using the AMD graphics. You may check the display adapters in Device Manager.

How to identify the Display Adapter:
  1. Launch Charms from the desktop interface.
  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. Select Device Manager and expand Display adapters.

Image illustrates the discrete display adapter in device manager. Image illustrates the integrated display adapter in device manager.
Hope this helps!

Hello Muzamil1,

Ideally  the AMD card should be working. However, if you want you may also disable the Intel HD Graphics from Device Manager.

  • Open Device Manager.
  • Right click Intel HD Graphics.
  • Click Disable.
  • Restart the computer.

This will ensure that the system is using AMD Radeon HD Graphics.
