5in1 Memory card reader not working with MMC

I have an Inspiron 640m/XPX M140 notebook. Even though I bought this several months back, I didn’t use the 5 in 1 memory card reader till today. Today when I inserted a Reduced size Dual Voltage Nokia 64MB MMC card nothing happed. I have everything setup properly, latest Ricoh drivers are installed and I am using Media Center 2005 with SP2. What is the problem ?

Could that be the reason ? If so then why is the card advertised as a 5 in 1 reader with SD / MMC / MS / Pro / Xd ? Those types are clearly marked next to the slot. False advertising ??
