6 in 1 Card reader for modular bay

Hello,   Does anyone know if Dell will be offering a 6 in 1 Card reader for the modular bay in any laptop, specifically the 8600 model Inspiron?   Thanks!

very much doubt it! do you have a particular problem with an external usb memory reader?

Seems to me like a waste of space to put a card reader in the modular bay.  I doubt DELL would design a card reader as such.  As Bacillus mentioned they are available for USB.  Some new printers and hard drives have built in card readers and you can also look into getting one that plugs into a PCMCIA slot.

Thanks for the feedback.  I do have an external reader, and it works well enough.  However, I do a lot of digital photography on the road, and would rather have something built in to the computer itself.  Not a big deal though.   Thanks again.
