600m: 333MHz RAM or 266MHz RAM?

My replacement 600m arrived today with PC2700 333MHz DDR SODIMMs installed. My older 600m only had PC2100 266MHz DDR SODIMMs. The Dell tech specs say it supports 266MHz, but the BIOS clearly showed 333MHz when I received the new machine.

Should I replace my 266 with 333? Is the 600m motherboard able to use PC2700/DDR333 or will it get downclocked?

It doesn't matter, does it? If you put some 266MHz sticks in it, it will run at 266MHz. If you keep the 333MHz sticks in it, it will run at 266MHz if it cannot support the 333MHz.

Well based on what I read, the 600m's MB can run DDR333 (PC2700). If anyone can confirm this it would be much appreciated.

I read on Notebook Forums that the 600m is capable of using the PC2700 now.  Dell upgraded it somewhere along the line.
