9200 vs 700m screenshots

Can anyone place an image of their 9200 WUXGA or 700m WXGA here. I want to get one of them and want to compare the real estate on the screen.

If you don't know how to do it, tt can be done like this: take a snapshot of your desktop by pressing Ctrl+Prnt Scrn, then open Accessories/Paint, paste and save as "jpeg" file.

Thanks

You will have to have a site that you can host the file on and allows hot linking.  Then by using HTML coding, you can link the picture in your post.  Now it sounds hard but it is not.

Do you have a site that you can upload the file to?  You ISP might have some free web space with your service.  If it allows hotlinking, just upload the file to your site.

Then, if you are using IE, you can click on the Yellow square button on the toolbar which is the "Inert an image" button.  Then just type in the URL to your picture.  Note, the picture can not be more than 460 pixels wide.

2 nirolf:

why is your screenshot so tiny? you still can make it less than 250kb if you take off that wallpaper (choose none) for a screenshot and save it as "jpeg" (drop-down) not "bmp". Looks great otherwise. thanks

here's my 8500 SXGA

rammmstein, you have yours listed at WSXGA witch is 1280 x 800.  Your image is 1680 x 1050.  Is your screen a WSXGA+ and not a WSXGA?  What DPI are you using (96 or 120)?  I am asking because I am putting together a web page so that others can see the difference in resolutions.  It may help someone in purchasing the correct resolution for them.

How old is your system?

I would like some information on the other systems that have been posted.

accurate81,  What DPI are you running on your I700m?  How old is your notebook?
Nirolf, the same questions.  What DPI are you running on your I9200?  How old is your notebook?

Here is the web page that I am putting together.

I would like to have full screen shots of other notebooks too.  I think that this will be helpful to others.

Thank you,

96 dpi

12/06/2004

I'm waiting for my replacement because of dead Bluetooth light and a scratch on the screen plastic cover. I'm sure it was a return.

Nice site you have there! Congratulations!

2 baywolf:

yes, it is SXGA+ with standard 96 DPI fonts

good job with the web site. Now we need to get some Sony and Toshiba screenshots to compare

my 700m is running at 96dpi and is about 1 month old. this is my second 700m, first one was stolen, and the screens seem to be the same.
