Additional Ram

Hello. I am using Dell Inspiron 15 3521 & I need to increase the ram (for app development and design issues). I have a 4GB ram in my laptop.I want to add a 8 GB ram in my laptop. Is it will be ok??Does it affect my pc anyway?? Please help.

If you're certain it's one 4G, you can add an 8 -- if there are 2X2, you can replace one 2 with an 8 to get a total of 10, or both 2G with 8 each for a max of 16 G.

If I put 4gb n 8 gb together... Is it cause any harm/side effects to my pc?

No.As long as they are compatible.Be sure you doublecheck the compatibility.

Probably not - you likely have 2X2, so you'll have to remove at least one module to upgrade.
