Alienware 17 R3 - No Subwoofer - Sound Blaster Recon 3Di
New 17 R3 delivered today. No subwoofer. Really subpar sound from working front speakers. However, headphones work well and eq works great with them.
Is there a chance that the subwoofer isn't connected? No sound at all coming from it.
Checked device manager and everything is fine. Tried installing driver from Dell found in my account. Still no subwoofer sounds at all, not even a crackle.
Seems weird for a new AW build to be missing subwoofer functionality.

I have that same setup and same problem thought i was going crazy it did at one point have those features and now doesn't. Did you ever get it fixed?

Hello. If you download and install a fresh copy of the audio driver and it still does not work, contact tech support (if still under warranty).
