Alienware Alienfx controller/editor not working.

Question

I recently had to reinstall all my software after wiping my hard drive and now my lighting does not work. i am able to load the command center and all portions of it operate correctly with the exception of the alienfx editor. when opened the editor does not show any zones or even lighting scemes. i have also noticed that my alienfx controller is not starting, automatically nor manually. i have tried reinstalling the software multiple times with the same effect with the exception of this time i get a microsoft .NET framwork popup that states as follows: unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if you click continue. the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit, the application will close immediately. object reference not set to an instance o an object. ive tried to click both continue and quit and nither seem to allow the startup of the alienfx controller or effects the indications of the editor. and when i click the show
