Audio Card Drivers Uninstalling Themselves
Hello, I have an Inspiron 8600 with the built in Sigmatel A97 sound card. For some reason my sound card driver keeps uninstalling itself. It seems to be completely random. When it decides to not work, I get an error in Winamp (or any other program that needs sound) stating that an audio device was not found.
I tried installing the newest driver, same problem. I managed to find a much older version (6.14.1.3901 dated 1/19/2004), and it has the same problem but it seems to be less often.
I've been forced to keep the driver installer on my desktop and reinstall it each time but it has seriously become annoying and I'm tired of doing this. Please help.

Edit: I just realized in the Subject Line, I accidentally typed "Video Card", sorry for the confusion.
