Audio, Video Playing Problem with VOSTRO 3450
Hi all,
I have a vostro 3450 that I bought 6 months ago. For first, three month everything went excellent with 64 bit operating system (it was incredibly fast), but then I have had problems with audio and video playing.
When I play a video or audio, it is often stuck for a second or less than 1 second and sometime it affects other programs too. If I browse internet with a browser with a player running, the browser cannot perform nicely. If I pause the video or audio, then the internet browser work fine.
I thought this problem happens because of 64 bit OS because most of the players available for 32 bit OS. So I installed 32- bit Windows 7 Ultimate. But the same problems occurs again and again.
I checked online for solution and I did so many things to fix it, but failed.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Razor

Hi
I believe you are facing problems while watching online videos, I would suggest you to install latest flash player and shockwave player from the below mentioned link:
http://adobe.ly/IYBPv
Also, I would suggest you to Open Internet Explorer, click on “Tools”, click on “Delete Browser History” then click on “Advanced” and click “Reset”.
Ensure "Enable Hardware Acceleration" is unchecked, if not, right click on the video after opening video online. Then click on the first folder “Display”. Uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration".
Please reply if you have any further questions
Thanks & Regards

Not indeed. I have actually been facing problems with the players that are installed in my PC. i.e. VLC, KPM, GOM.

Hi,
Thanks. I did it, but same. I don't think this is a problem with my operating system because I re-installed windows 7, but the same problem persist.
I think this is a problem of driver or something like that.
Will I contact the shop where I purchased my Laptop?

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
I would suggest you to install drivers from the below mentioned links.
At the time of updating BIOS you will get current version and new version; in case both are same please do not update BIOS. Also make sure battery is more than 10% charge and AC Adapter is plugged in.
Please check your video card in device manager under display adaptor and install the relevant driver.
System BIOS: http://dell.to/QssVY8
Chipset: http://dell.to/SG1xnX
Video drivers: http://dell.to/QCVeEk
Audio drivers: http://dell.to/PwUMnH
Check how it works after updating drivers and revert.
Thanks & Regards
