BIOS Beep noise?

Hello...I don't know what I did or what my guest user did:smileysad: but I get a loud solid beep on certain prompts messages. it's only when my sound is on.  EX:  When I'm updating my AVG anti-virus eveytime at startup, once it completes I get the update complete window prompt followed by that loud annoying beep.  I have no idea how to change or remove it....please help
