Thanks for your response LSUFAN51. I gave tried each of these suggested fixes several times and nothing works. I'm going crazy as I am working at home and really, really need this computer to work. I will never do another BIOS update.
If the BIOS Recovery options doesn't work, I suggest you purchase a USB flash drive(8GB or 16GB) at your local Walmart. After you purchase it, please find another computer (local library),download the latest BIOS update from your Dell Product Support page, and then save it to a bootable USB Flash Drive. Please follow instructions in link below:
I am having the same issue on my Dell XPS 15 9550. After I installed BIOS 1.2.19 (after I was prompted to do so by Dell Support Assist pop up) I now get the No bootable devices found. I am working with @DellCares via Twitter. I will let you know if they come up with a fix.
Would be really great except my library doesn't let me download applications to their hard drive so I can create a bootable USB. I asked a friend to let me use her desktop but it is a Mac and I couldn't translate the directions to macspeak. Waiting to hear back from another friend with a PC. Meanwhile tick-tock. Not cool, Dell. Not cool.
Please do... day 2 with nothing that works other than bundling it up and sending away for a week. That is a weeks worth of work lost...grrr. Because I download a Dell update

I've seen your post and Bcr5 solution in the XPS 13 - no bootable devices - General Hardware - Laptop ... thread. I am wondering if you're experiencing same problem with the Samsung SSD on the system as well. Bcr5 solution seem to work but since you're having a hard time finding a good working computer you should try to get the windows recovery image to pop up on system. Since you already Reset Bios Values, you could use the Startup repairs as suggested by Bcr5 and see if that will make a difference.
Power on system, wait about 5 minutes and then power off system using the hard reset / power button. Keep turning the computer on and off until you see your computer booting into the automatic repair screen. It should only take a few reboots.
Just updated my XPS 13 9350 with the latest BIOS and experienced the same problem ("no bootable system detected"). No hardwared problems using Dell diagnostics were detected. Dell support recommended "start-up repair" using Win10 Install USB however it failed. Will try the above mentioned solutions...

You can Reset the BIOS to Default Values and see if that will make a difference.

Thanks for checking in, LSUFAN51 No nothing worked so it is getting shipped to a Dell express depot.
What no one has explained to me is why downloading a Dell BiOS update would crash my computer. How can I trust downloading the next one?
