BSOD after ejecting disc???

So, I've been having issues with a game I just bought. Whenever I quit and eject the disc (after making sure it wasn't still running of course) I get a stop error. I've posted on a forum specifically for this game (The Sims 2 Apartment Life, fyi), thinking it was a game conflict, but they told me this was a computer problem and locked the thread ><  So now I came here...

At first, the game would crash after qutting with an "application has crashed..." message, even though it always ran perfectly fine (as in without any *noticeable* signs of a problem, or crashing before quitting). I actually can't remember if the bsod would come up in the beginning ^^;  But NOW, the bsod comes up when I eject the disc even if I let the computer sit for a while after quitting and making sure nothing related with the game is still running. I haven't played it repeatedly so I've only had a handful of bsods, but they first said "page fault in nonpaged area" before the latest one, which gave no message. I've read that message means a memory problem, but what does it mean if that message doesn't show up anymore???

I have an Inspiron E1505, with XP SP3 Home Edition. My drivers are updated, except my cd/dvd drive. I've looked all over for this particular problem with the game - lots of people have similar crashing problems, but not quite the same.

Other things I noticed: A couple times the game disc will spin-up really, really loudly in the drive and never stop doing that even after quitting. But, there was one time I ejected it without the stop error, when I didn't play in my custom neighborhood although not for very long.  That's why I thought it was a game conflict, but apparently not.  If anything, does anyone know what this code means, or how I'd go about fixing this if possible?
