Battery on a Dell C840
I need a second battery for my laptop and have seen on Ebay many 'replacement' types at reduced prices. Is it wise to purchase these batteries or should we stay with the original, as supplied by Dell?

Personally speaking, I try to stay with the OEM versions. If that's not possible, you want to at least find a replacement with a decent warranty. Either of these will fit the bill. I've never had a problem with anything I've bought from Laptop Parts, and a lot of the batteries they sell are the exact same thing you get from Dell - they're just a little less expensive.
