Bug squished inside my screen!
Hi there,
It, rather oddly, appears as though a bug has gotten inside the screen on my laptop and is squished in there. Will my warranty cover getting the screen repaired/cleaned?
Thanks.

Most likely not, unless you complete care insurance. This will be considered accidental and not covered by the hardware warranty.

@mj_scrat
You can google and will find a lot of users who are facing the same problem.Such stuff happens if a screen is not 100% sealed.You must be lucky if it is just one bug it could be even more....I hope Dell is willing to replace the display or whatever is necessary.An experienced technician could disassemble the screen and use compressed air to get rid of it.I wouldn't try squeezing the bug to death as the fluid it releases could cause more damage.

Hi mj_scrat,
You may provide the service tag of the computer and the name as it appears on the account via private message (click my username and then click Start Conversation) so that I can check the further course of action.
