Hi,

Could you provide with more information in regards to the issue that you are facing? It will be helpful in finding the correct resolution.

- Is there any error message that shows up when you try to establish Bluetooth connectivity?
- Does the computer detect your phone through Bluetooth?
- Was the phone communicating with the laptop in the past?
- Have you tried connecting your phone with any other Bluetooth device?
- Please tell the name and model number of your phone?
- Have you tried installing drivers for your phone on your laptop?
- If yes, please share the download link that you used
- Is Bluetooth in your laptop connecting successfully with any other Bluetooth device?
- Please provide the name of Operating System installed in the laptop

You may try performing the following steps to see if that works:

Open 'Device Manager' to check for the presence of Bluetooth device in the laptop:
- Click ‘Pearl / Start Icon’, and then click ‘Control Panel’
- Click ‘Hardware and Sound’
- Click ‘Device Manager’
- ‘User Account Control’ dialog box appears.
- Click ‘Continue’
- 'Device Manager' Page opens up.
- Locate a category called ‘Bluetooth Radios’
- If not found, locate ‘Network Adapter’
- Note down all the device names listed under that category
- Also observe if it has a yellow mark besides any of the device listed
- Browse through the whole list to check for any other item listed with a yellow mark
- Capture the item name with the yellow mark
- If there is a 'yellow mark' besides 'Bluetooth Device', it indicates that device driver needs installation / re-installation to fix the issue

If 'Bluetooth Device' is visible in 'Device Manager' and there is no 'yellow mark' besides it, follow the steps listed below to pair it:
- Locate the Bluetooth icon in the lower-right corner of the computer screen. The Bluetooth icon may be hidden, click the 'Show hidden icons' arrow to show any hidden icons (Refer to the image below to check the status of the Bluetooth on the laptop)

- Right-click the Bluetooth icon in the lower-right corner of the computer screen
- Click 'Add a Device'
- Put your phone in discovery mode. Discovery mode allows the device to be found by your computer
- Click to highlight the the desired device, then click 'Next'
- You may be requested to input the passkey found in the documentation of your Bluetooth device, if so input the passkey, then click 'Next'
- The wizard pairs the two devices together and completes, click 'Close'

If the phone still does not pair, your phone drivers may have to be installed in computer. Please do reply with the findings and all the information that I have asked for. I will be able to provide you with specific resolution steps. I would be glad to assist.

go to devices and printers, and click--add a device.

you connect phone to the computer, not the other way around.
