Cable locks - Are they worth it ?
I am considering getting one for my I6000 but I would like to get some feedback on whether they are really worth it, or it just gives a false sense of security ? Has anyone had the bad experience of losing a laptop that has been secured with a cable lock ? Looking at the lock port, it seems like it is only plastic and could be broken off easily, although it will leave an enlarged hole in the plastic which might look a little unsightly. Also, based on one of the threads here, airport security might confiscate the cable. Thanks for the feedback

Bacillus, thanks for the video.
I saw Targus advertising their combination lock having "up to 10,000 possible settings" I wonder how is this possible with 4 digits ?

10 ^ 4 (10 to the 4th power) = 10,000.

I bought a laptop lock for $5 back when i got my laptop. Even though others leave their laptops in the coffee shop while they use the rest room, I'm not a trusting enough person to leave my "lifeline" alone. I either take it with me or lock it up. (call me parinoid)
With that said, Nothing is secure, ask any hacker. Locking stuff up (be it your house, car, or laptop) only deters quick walk-up thefts. If someone wants to break the lock/laptop to grab the laptop, they will. It will of course get others attentions (if anyone is present).
