Can I use a latitude D610 power supply on an Inspiron 1501?
The the laptops have the same plug shape but the voltages are slightly higher on the D610's power supply. Would it be a bad idea to use the power supply from the D610 on the 1501?

Definitely a bad idea , running a system slightly under voltage is alot safer than running it over voltage . Especially since the 1501 cpus and system board run at a lower base voltage than the D610's you risk damaging the system board by doing so .
