Can't find Wireless Network Connection Icon

Question

I have a Laptop Latitude D600 and I can't find the Wireless Network Connection Icon to be able to set up a wireless network. I have made sure that the Wireless Zero Configuration. is set to automatic and  started but the icon still doesn't appear. Is there anyone that knows how I can make sure that the Wireless Network Connection Icon is displayed?

Go into Network Connections and properties of the wifi connection. Check to show icon on Task Bar.
