Cannot access Oem recovery partition!
Hi,
I have a dell inspiron edition laptop which had win 7 and has been upgraded to win 8.
Now I seriously need to go back to win7 FACTORY DEFAULT SETTING and win 8 does not show the factory image recovery option!
The oem partition is intact but I cannot access it.
Please help me, I am in a desperate situation!

Hi Antariksh,
Welcome to the Community.
Windows 7 factory image may not work after upgrading to windows 8. I would suggest you to install windows 7 using the reinstallation DVD sent with the computer. Please refer to the link mentioned below to install Windows 7:

By installing Windows 8 you have lost access to the recovery partition (Dell MBR was overwritten) by Win8 MBR.
