Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron N4010. I've had no issues whatsoever with audio but all of a sudden this happened. I could not enable my speakers, microphone, stereo mix. The only way I am able to hear audio is via my external USB soundcard. I really seek to resolve this problem.
Try right clicking and select "show disabled devices" and try to enable from there. If nothing on either the Playback tab or the Recording tab will enable I can't think of much except re-install the Realtek driver. Well, you could try the native Windows driver or use System Restore if there is a restore point from before the problem showed up.

Thanks. Re-installing the driver worked.
