Centrino is simply a combination of a Pentium M CPU and an Intel wireless network adapter. It is not a processor.

Dothan is the last-generation (before the current Sonoma) Pentium-M CPU.

Thank you so much! I was totally in the dark about what the Centrino was; it was always posted right after the processor, so I thought it had something to do with it. Stupid me!

Another question: How do I know if it's a Sonoma or a Dothan?

Check the specs. If the bus speed is 533 MHz, it's Sonoma. If it is 400, it could be either.
