Comp not working - Beep code 2-4-4
My computer isn't working. It's a Dell Vostro 1400. When it starts up it gives the beep series 2-4-4 (I think) - which is "Memory not properly identified or used". How do I go about trying to remedy or fix this? Is it a matter of opening it up, taking out the memory sticks and reseatting them or do I likely need to replace them? Or is there something more elaborate necessary?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Reduard,
Welcome to the Community. Yes you may have to reseat your memory, the steps are pretty simple, Below is the link. Try one memory stick at a time, and then try changing them in different slots, this will tell you if the problem is with the memory or the memory slot itself.

Thank you
