Computer restarts

Every time I click the mouse pad, the computer restarts...

Hi caturof,

I would suggest that you run the diagnostics on the computer by following the steps mentioned in the video below and check if there is any issue with the hardware on your system.

Also, connect an external USB mouse to the system and check if issue reoccurs.

I checked both things. The diagnosis says that there is no problems. When I click the USB mouse it works perfectly. But the problem comes when I click the left click of the mousepad. Every time I do it the computer closes de session and I need to sing on again using my account. I don't know what to do, because it might be a problem with the computer and I might need to return it. I got the computer completely new yesterday and it is having this problem since I turn it on for the first time. I do not know how to solve this problem and I need help. I am trying to find resources online but I haven't seen any problem similar to mine.

Hi caturof,

I would suggest you to try flashing the BIOS on the system. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the operating system, and then download the BIOS from the BIOS section onto the system and install it.

If the above steps does not fix the issue. You may consider restoring the system to factory state by following steps mentioned in the link below.
