Constantly running fan

Hey, From the moment i booted up my I8500 the fan has been running non stop at what seems to be a slow or medium speed.  Is this normal?  Also the left palm rest seems to stay warm weather or not the fan is running.  Any suggestions on how to keep it coo

i8kfangui or you can get a special cooler stand that lets more air run below the computer...try hitting fn + f7 as well

be careful with i8kfangui...you can make the fans come on earlier or run faster or longer than the defaults, but DO NOT make them come on later, or run slower or for less time than the defualts!!!
