Converting Macintosh Files to Windows

Question

Hello everyone,   I am brand new to this forum, and I just have a basic question.  I don't really know if it is a hardware question per se, but does anyone know the quickest, most effective way to convert my Macintosh files (either on my Mac hard drive or on Mac floppies) to Windows files?  Is there a way to do it without buying special software?  Especially helpful would be commentaries from people who have actually done it before, but help from ANYONE who knows how to do this would be greatly appreciated!    The Macintosh I have is a Macintosh Power PC 7200/90.  I just bought a DELL Inspiron 6000 and at some point would like to get rid of my old Macintosh, but not before converting all of the old files.
