D620 boot hangs, bluetooth light blinks 8 times
The Dell Latitude D620, when booting, the bluetooth light blinks 8 times, on the 8th blink it holds lit a while, then starts blinking again 8 times... no other ligts are blinking, and no Peep sounds.
Most often it shows nothing on screen, but sometimes it shows a bit of the Loading bios screen, but hangs.
The HD works fine, tested it on external adapter. Reseated the memory, 1 at a time.
I get the feeling that those 8 blinks should be easily recognized by someone out there!!??? Anyone?

OK. I opened her up, and removed the bluetooth device. After that the computer started to behave... for a while... While the laptop was all open I noticed that the MB fan was dead... soon after the thing overheated and locked up. MAN was it hard to get that fracken fan out! now just have to order a new one if I even can??

I oiled up the fan, which made it feel better, spinning it by hand. Now all screwed back together, the PC seems to be working fine. Wouldn't even start upp before this. Even put in some extra heat paste between the CPU, GPU, chipset and the heat radiator. Feeling very pleased.

grr, Once I got it back home again, the fan just doesn't seem to be getting power. Suspect the Motherboard is broken, not giving the bluetooth unit as well as the fan any power... perhaps even other hardware on the MB is powerless as well. Calling it quits on this one.
