DISPLAY SCREEN OPTIONS

I have a new Dell laptop and can't figure out how to display 2 different windows on the screen at the same time.  Can anyone explain this to me. I am using Windows 7.  Thanks, Jane

You mean like this? This is known as aerosnap.

Just hold down the left click at the window by the title at the top and drag it to the far left this will fill the left hand side of the screen, alternatively drag it to the right to fill the right hand side. Finally drag it up to the top of the screen and it will fill the full screen.

Alternatively you can press [windows] and [←] to make a window fill the left hand side of the screen. [Windows] and [→] to fill the right hand side of the screen or the [Windows] and [↑] to fill the whole screen.
