I would suggest that you try follow the steps mentioned below and check for issue resolution.
Switch off the computer.
Disconnect the AC adapter from the system.
Remove the battery from the computer.
Press and hold down the power button for 15 seconds.
Then connect back all the peripherals and check.
If the key is still not responding, then i would suggest you connect an external Keyboard and check if all keys are responding and working good on the external keyboard.
