Dell E5510 VGA Port issues

Greetings all,

I am a systems guy for a small company and I have a user with a Dell E5510 that was recently formatted due to a virus that went around the office.

The users computer will not connect to a projector ever since the computer was formatted.  Other users who also had their E5500's formatted are not having any issues.

I know the projectors work, as all other users are able to use them.

I have tried adjusting the settings in the control panel, I have tried Fn+F8, I have tried Windows bttn + P, nothing seems to work.

Looking at the device manager, there are no errors.

Is there a BIOS setting somewhere that I'm missing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi SOA_User,

There is no setting in BIOS that would enable or disable the VGA on this model. Please load the BIOS defaults and also install the latest Video drivers and revert with the status. Please find the below link for driver downloads.

Thanks Harish, I went through each of the video drivers and updated them, and that did the trick.
