Dell E6420 Bios Password
I am trying to find out how to reset a bios password on a E6420 laptop I purchased. It is a E6420 I5 Win 7 system.I would like to upgrade the win 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Hi Scanzed,
Without unlocking the BIOS password you will not be able to update the password. Please put in the correct password or you may have to disable the BIOS password in the BIOS (F2 during startup).
If you are unable to unlock the BIOS password then please help me with the Hint code, which will be seen on the BIOS screen. If you do not get the hint code, try entering an incorrect password multiple times and you will see the hint code.
