Dell Factory Image Restore - option not there.
I need to reinstall the Dell Factory settings to my Studio 1745 laptop as it does not work correctly with the standard win 7 installation.
After chosing the repair your computer in F8 then logging in to my account, there is no 'Dell Factory Restore' setting to choose. I installed Dell Datasafe and tried the restore from there, but still no factory restore option is present.
Could anyone help with this please.

If the quick restore is gone, you must do a manual load of Windows.

I have just a few hours ago reinstalled Windows 7 with the intention of running the Dell Datasafe system restore as soon as possible.
I can't stay on the Windows 7 settings, even with all the drivers updated. The mass storage controller driver is missing for a start and you can't install it.
