Dell Inspiron 15 Stuck in continuous "Preparing Automatic Repair"
I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 3521 about 1 week ago and one day after opening it and getting the initial start up and account creation done the computer became stuck in continuous automatic repair loop. I hit F12 and ran the Diagnostics and it came up with no errors.
I went into the Boot Manager and changed it to "Legacy Boot Mode, Secure Boot Off" and it acted like it was starting up then I get
"PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable"
"PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM. No Boot Device Found"

Press F12 at powerup and boot to the Dell diagnostics - run an extended test on the hard drive.
You cannot change the system's boot status to legacy (vs. UEFI) without reloading Windows -- the system will not boot thereafter.
