Dell Inspiron 1525 Screen Error

Question

I have two Dell Inspiron 1525 laptops, one was mine and working no problem but the other was given to me.  I thought I would try plugging the screen from the one I was given into my one to test and the screen was dim.   I then connected the original one back up and now that is dim.. I ran the diagnostics program and found Error code 2000-0326 LCD inverter error, unable to turn lamp ON/OFF. This is what I have tried so far which unfortunately have not worked....any help would be great!! double/triple checked all the connections Plugged into an external monitor and its fine. tried replacing inveter but made no difference Tried different cable from motherboard to screen Phoned Dell and say that I need to replace screen and inverter for £225 with discount!!! (obviously not an option) Flashed the bios reinstalled operating system I have also tried the screen on another laptop and it works fine but for some reason when I reconnected it back to my laptop I now get the error code 0322 LCD inveter ubable to modify the brightness Anyone got any suggestions? Either the inverter is not compatible with the LCD or the Cable is bad or not connected properly I would think.
