Dell Inspiron E1505 System Restore
Hello, i am trying to restore my Dell Inspiron E1505 computer to the factory settings, but I am unable to do so.
I have tried the F8 option, but I do not have the "restore factory settings" option on the Advanced Boot Menu.
If anybody can help me restore my computer, I would appreciate it.
Thank you.

You will need to do a manual install.

What did not work? Did the CD not boot the system (suggesting a damaged disc or CD drive) or did the install fail (which would suggest the hard drive is bad)?

Hi Gaunami,
Welcome to the Community. If you do not see Dell Factory Restore on the Advanced Boot menu, then the hard drive has been formatted before, so its wiped out the Recovery partiton, so you will need to manually reinstall the operating system. Refer to Ejn63's link to install the operating system.
Thank you
