Dell Inspiron RAM question
I have Dell Inspiron N7110 17R i5-2450m with 4 Gb RAM, on some websites when I do maximum memory scanner it says it supports 16 Gb, on other sites it's 8 Gb.
On Aida64 I see something like "Northbridge: Intel Sandy Bridge-MB IMC" it says it supports 16 Gb, but I am not sure it this cpu supported bandwidth or motherboard.Other I see Southbridge: Intel Cougar Point HM67, I don't know where are my manuals when I bought Notebook. What do you think?

According to the Spec sheet in the owner's manual the max is 8GB, 4GBx2.
