Dell Laptop has boot loop virus
Hello,
My computer is stuck on this loop that once Windows starts to load it will "Load Windows" files and then get stuck on the Windows Startup Repair screen, that then says it can't fix the issue. I tried to boot the computer in Safe Mode-Command Prompt and Networking didn't work, once the screen starts showing about the sixth file to load, it will go back to "Windows loading files" screen and then go backs to the Startup repair command screen. At this time nothing will allow me to get into the desktop. My systems diagnostics are as follow:
Dell Laptop N7110
Windows 7 | i5
There are no hardware issues, since the internal Dell diagnostics showed no issues.
Any help will be great, thanks.

If there is data on the drive you need, remove the drive, mount it in a 2.5" external case and attach it to a working system to make a backup.
Then return the drive to the system and either do a factory restore or manually reload Windows.

Never heard of a boot loop virus but i suppose anything is possible. Pull the hard drive and put it in an external case and run diagnostics and antivirus on it from another machine. If you really have a virus that should find it, if it's a bad drive the diagnostics should catch that too, pull off your data if you can. Since you have it out anyway I'd hope dell would just let you return the bad drive and not the whole laptop.

I have the same issue with the same laptop and cannot get it fixed. Dell says there is no hardrive issue so warranty doesnt cover it.. they say its a software issue and want to charge $150 for a one time fix..
