Dell Latitude 800 screen
I have a Dell Latitude 800. It boots up okay and the screen is fine but after a few minutes the screen goes dark. You can still see the image of what should show on the screen but the screen is black in the foreground. What is my problem?

Most likely the backlight bulb is worn out - though less likely it could be the inverter (power supply for the bulb).
