Dell Latitude E5440 Dual Graphics
So I have a Latitude E5440 that has a Intel GPU and an Nvidia GPU.
Is there anyway to disable the Intel GPU so that I only have the Nvidia GPU?
I have noticed that some 3D applications do not use the Nvidia GPU when they should and I would just like to use the dedicated graphics without having to rely on the PC making the decision on what GPU to use.

No, there's no way to use the nVIdia GPU alone - it is a co-processor that uses the Intel GPU as a conduit to the screen.
This system does not have true discrete video - it is a hybrid system and cannot operate other than that way.
