I am not sure whether my Dell Latitude E6400 support DDR3-1066.
I installed Everest, and this is what it said:

It looks like that my Dell Latitude E6400 has slots for DDR3, but could you guys confirm that is possible or not?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Memory Type: DDR2-800 PC-6400
Maximum Memory: 8GB
Each memory slot can hold DDR2 PC2-6400 with a maximum of 4GB per slot.

I just bought 8GB (2x4GB) modules PC2-6400 DDR2-800 from MemoryTen but apparently my Latitude E6400 doesn't like them as it doesn't boot at all. I see the three small lockers on F4-F5 key blinking and nothing else happens.
Any idea ?
I also upgraded the BIOS to A34 but still the problem is there.
