Dell Studio 1745 - A02 BIOS - Release Notes?

Does anyone know what changes the A02 BIOS release for the Dell Studio 1745 contains?  I looked for Release Notes - or something similar - but I can't find anything.

I had problems with BIOS Version A02 (could not change supervisor password) and switched back to A01. I asked my support contact from Dell what's the difference between A01 and A02 but he didn't know.

BIOS Versions for Dell PCs are placed here: http://ftp.us.dell.com/bios. If you use Windows 7 64Bit take http://ftp.us.dell.com/bios/1745_A01W64.exe

Sorry, I forgot to mention that 1745_A01W64 normally does not allow to downgrade the BIOS. Try following:

- Start 174_A01W64.exe

- Press Button 'Start'

- When Winphlash says 'The current system BIOS is the same version (or newer) than the version you are trying to flash, so the BIOS will not be changed' don't press the OK button. Instead walk do c:\windows\temp and copy directroy winphlash to a save place. After that, press the button 'OK'.

- Walk to the saved winphlash directory and start WinPhlash64.exe

- Select Button 'Advanced Settings'

- Uncheck 'Flash only if BIOS is newer than system'.

- Select 'OK' and then 'Flash BIOS'

Greetings

Seems like the fan turns on sooner and more often. Probably heat related issues.

Cara, mereçe um brinde da Dell heim, nem precisava de fazer isso tudo, apenas desmarcar a opção "Flas apenas se o bios for mais novo que o sistema" e funcionou depois de tanto insistir!!!

Deus te abençoe!
