Dell XPS L502x Not Using High Performance NVIDIA processor

Question

My laptop is a dell XPS 15 L502x (i5, 4GB RAM). I recently installed assassin's creed III on this and the gameplay was really slow.But when i connected it to an HDTV (Samsung 1080p) via an HDMI, the gameplay was PERFECT. I already followed this instruction Open the NVIDIA Control Panel. Select Manage 3D Settings. Select Program Settings tab. Click Add. Browse to and select the application executable file that needs the new profile.  Choose the preferred graphics processor to use from the drop menu. BUT the gameplay was still really bad on the laptop. It seems that my laptop is always using the integrated graphics card, regardless of whether I tell it to use NVIDIA or not. I just want to play the game without having to connect to a HD TV. Please help

I have the same problem, although i didn try with TV.

I did the same u described and it's not better..

I'll try to play with Max Payne 3 and it runs better in my old PC than in this laptop..(although the specifications much better in the laptop.)

And most of the games is the same..

Its very annoying. It seems like the programs cant use the vieocard or just a part of it..... (???) I'll try manny things reinstall drivers, swich off the intel graph card, found some drivers in dell page..... but is not working...

I'm searching on the internet whole day but i can't find sollution..

Please help
