Dell XPS l502x power button ribbon cable

I have a Dell XPS l502x but my power button no longer works and I realised that its because the ~40cm AWM 20696 cable has a few pins broken on one end. Is there anywhere I would be able to buy another of these cables or get this cable fixed?

Look for the cable at parts-people.com and either order from them or use the Dell part number to order from a local vendor.

It sounds like it's either a USB cable or the LVDS cable you're looking for -- or, if its really the button that's not working;

That's the part to replace.

Thanks for the reply, however I cannot find the cable that I need on that website or anywhere else on the internet. Currently the only way I have found to replace the cable is to buy a whole new palmrest which is obviously not ideal. The cable I need is: 12 pin, AWM-20696, 80C, 30V, ~40cm long and 0.6cm wide

You can try EBay, but that's not a separate part -- if you want to get it from Dell or a Dell parts reseller, it comes only with the palmrest assembly.
