Dell inspirion 7566 battery level doesn't change.

My new dell notebook has the following issue:

My battery level indicator doesn't change during use. It shows the same level, and changes only after restart, or after sleep.

I have installed last version of BIOS and other drivers...

Is anybody know how to solve this?

Thank you for any help

Thank you for answer.

No, I mean windows panel battery icon. It it always shows the same level, for example 78%, and changes only when I restart the PC.

Please right click battery icon and then check battery status, health, and desktop mode in the battery meter.

In Battery Status: Make sure there isn't a check mark in the box - Dell Extended Battery Life)

Also, battery should charge to 100%

In Battery Health: It should say " Your Battery Is Performing Normally"

Thank for answers!

But there is not battery status in right click. Only Adjust screen, Power options, Windows mobility center.

I am running windows 10 which comes with my notebook.

In widows search else, I can't find battery status.

Should I install something?

Please click on "Find It Myself ", expand Application, and then install Dell Quickset (Battery App) in link below:

Thanks

I did it. The design is different. There now Dell Power Manager lite. It shows that Battery health is excellent. There are no much options as in your attached images. Only battery settings, which is in "Adaptive". Should I do anything here?

I am using my notebook 2 hours on battery, but it shows 72% all the time)

Please change battery settings to Standard in Dell Power Manager lite app and then power off system. Remove all peripherals, AC adapter, and then wait about 3 minutes. Replace adapter, and then power on system. Hopefully battery start charging to 100%.

Thank you for help and your time)

I tried that, but situation don't changed. After I looks Microsoft support forums, and find that there are a lot of people who have the same issue with their laptops, which are using windows 10 16232 pre release. I think the bug is there. Will wait for upgrades(
