Dell inspiron 3543 doesn't turns on. 8 beeps
My dell inspiron 3543 doesn't turns on.. it gives 8 beeps when i an trying to turn on. And its warranty period is over. What is the possible cause and solution?

Three possibilities - bad video cable, bad display panel or bad mainboard.
First hold the D key through powerup. Do you get a set of alternating screen colors? If so, the display panel is OK. If not,
Open the system and check the cable that runs between the mainboard and display panel. Make sure it's not damaged - and reseat the connectors at both ends. If that doesn't fix the system, replace the cable.
If you don't get anywhere with either of those, then it's the mainboard that's faulty -- on this model, that would likely run half or more the cost of the system -- so a replacement system might be a better idea.
