Dell studio 1555 keyboard changed problems
Hi,
i have bought a new keyboard (with backlight) form my dell studio 1555 (this one '''www.ebay.it/.../282103194650. Once installed the keyboard works like the previous (the function buttons are mapped on the old keyboard, so i press the eject dvd button and nothing happened, or press the monitor switch button and the audio of the speacker is growing).
The worst thing about all this is that the backlight does not work! :-(
My old keyboard is the one in the picture (Model: V080925CK1, S/N: 20092121154).
What can I do? How can I configure the computer to recognizes the new keyboard?
Please help me

Hi, I had exactly the same problem, it turned out that the keyboard, although it is physically compatible with the laptop does not correspond to the exact model, so that the function keys are misplaced and are no way to reorder.
