Bluescreen error can be caused by either software or hardware issue. To isolate hardware issue run the hardware diagnostics (tap F12 on start up,select diagnostics).
Post back error code/message if any.
If the hardware test passes without any error download this tool WhoCrashed 3.06,which should point us to the software/driver causing this issue.
I ran the Hardware Diagnostics as recommended and received following report:
Drive 0: WDC WD800JD-75MSA3 - Pass
Drive 1: No Device
Drive 2: TSSTcorp CD-Rw/DVD-Rom TS-H492C - Diagnostics not supported
Drive 3: No Device
ends
Tried download the WhoCrashed 3.06 as suggested by you but received warning from Billy.com saying the website is unsafe and they detect potentially malicious content ??
8 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. A third party driver has been identified to be causing system crashes on your computer. It is strongly suggested that you check for updates for these drivers on their company websites. Click on the links below to search with Google for updates for these drivers:
tmcomm.sys (TrendMicro Common Module, Trend Micro Inc.)
If no updates for these drivers are available, try searching with Google on the names of these drivers in combination the errors that have been reported for these drivers and include the brand and model name of your computer as well in the query. This often yields interesting results from discussions from users who have been experiencing similar problems.
Read the topic general suggestions for troubleshooting system crashes for more information.
Note that it's not always possible to state with certainty whether a reported driver is actually responsible for crashing your system or that the root cause is in another module. Nonetheless it's suggested you look for updates for the products that these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows update or enable automatic updates for Windows. In case a piece of malfunctioning hardware is causing trouble, a search with Google on the bug check errors together with the model name and brand of your computer may help you investigate this further.
Are you using Trendmicro Antivirus software on your system? The report from the tool suggests its the trendmicro antivirus which is causing the bluescreen.
If you're using retail copy and if you have the Cd to reinstall or way to reinstall it online, you may want to completely uninstall it and check if system works normally without that software.
Refer to this link below for help to uninstall it :
Yes, using TrendMicro. My computer has'nt crashed for quite some time now. Tfore intend not to do anything further and hope it will not crash again. If it did, then will follow the steps you advised. Thanks for your help so far. Bi for now?
My Dell deskdop recently crashed several times again, so I uninstalled the MicroTrend as suggested by you. Now Windows' OnLine Crash Analysis advised that I use their Windows Memory Dianostic to test the computer hardware as they suspected that the crash could be due to RAM errors.
Reckon will ignore its advice if the computer is working properly now?
Yes,if the system is working fine after uninstalling Trendmicro antivirus software than you don't have to run any other test. However if the issue comes back even without using Trendmicro than consider running the Windows suggested test.

Run this tool and post back what it says in the Conclusion(it would be on the bottom of the screen).
Note:This is a 3rd party tool and not a Dell validated tool.
