Disable C1E Halt State (Enhanced Halt State) Inspiron 14R (N4010)

I would like to use TrueCrypt whole drive encryption on this laptop like I used on my previous Dell laptop.  The C1E Halt State feature of the i3 processor causes system freezes when the hard drive is encrypted (see this thread in the truecrypt forums for more details: http://forums.truecrypt.org/viewtopic.php?t=17643).

I have BIOS version A11 installed which is the latest on the website, and the option to disable C1E is not provided.  Are there any alternatives?  Any plans to provide this feature in a future BIOS version?

Thanks, Eric Stearns

Today, I noticed that BIOS version A12 was available and I updated it.  The setting described above is still not available (not intended as a criticism since it was released only three days after my post :) ), is there a chance it'll make it into the next version?

I also have this problem with my Vostro 3450.  Please provide access to disable C1E as it makes this laptop useless for my work until I can encrypt the drive with TrueCrypt.

This is still a problem in BIOS A13.  Can anyone from Dell comment?
