Disable Trackpoint

I have a Latitude 630. It seems as though the trackpoint(stick in the keyboard) is causing my cursor to wander to either the lower left hand side or upper right hand side. Is there a way to disable the trackpoint since i do not really use it? Thanks in advance for all your help.

If you have the Dell mouse drivers installed. Goto mouse properties in control panel and then to the tab labeled "Device Select" you can change all kinds of things in there, including turning off the trackstick

Thanks for the replay... two questions though.

1. Where do I find/how do I know I have the Dell drivers installed? I assume I do.

2. When I go to the mouse properties there is not a 'device select' tab where I can chose devices.
